Bags for laptops - argh!

I'm currently trying to find a bag for work that my laptop will fit in but they all seem to be for teeny laptops, mine is 17.3 inches. Does anyone have any recommendations (preferably with next day delivery as of course I've left it to the last minute!) Thank you!

Loads on Amazon prime. Functional snd not pretty but I guess your laptop is heavy. Most women's work bags take up to 15 inch laptops. Osprey have lovely work bags in the sale but your isotope is too big!! You need around 480 wide and not a narrower at the bottom style! So functional it is!

Thank you, yes I'd seen the Osprey ones but I don't think my laptop will fit :-(

I bought a nice wenger laptop bag which I also need to fit files in etc from Lidl a couple of weeks ago

A few years ago I bought some Wenger luggage from Tesco with vouchers you had to collect

They're such brilliant quality. Go into your local Lidl to see if they have any lying about in their middle aisle. It was £19.99

Mines called a Messenger Bag rather than a laptop bag

Splicebaked · 18/07/2022 15:28

Sorry it's only 16 inches

I would opt for a slimline protective case for your laptop - available on amazon, various styles, and then a tote bag to slip it into.

We use these too and bought them from Amazon. They're made from a sort of neoprene material with a softer lining.

There are few Tote bags this big at the bottom. Lots are V shaped if you see what I mean. Also have open top. For this size a wheeled case is often better due to weight of laptop. DD2 has a fairly high spec laptop to take CAD programs. It’s a weightier beast than Mac Book type ones.

This one from M&S is big but I suspect the measurement is the top width.

Not sure about next day delivery, but I have a huge, heavy work laptop and got this to carry it in:

Backpack

It does the trick and I like it much more than I ever expected I would!

I don't agree with the tote bag suggestion, not good for your back/shoulder to carry our laptop just on one side.

TizerorFizz · 19/07/2022 23:29

@Gwenhwyfar
Not me either really. Trolley bags on wheels work best.
