Satin Shoes for wedding guests

I haven't been to a wedding in ages and my 'nice' shoes are peep toes satin in nude colour with a matching clutch bag. Is it too dated to wear them to a wedding? My other choice are patent heels but it's too hot to wear them. What should I go with?

The satin shoes will be fine, honestly. Not at the cutting edge of fashion but not noticeably dated either. Have a great time. I agree that the patent shoes will be too hot.

Yes it’s better to be comfortable. I would skip the matching bag though.
