Loose powder recommendations

Looking for recommendations please :)

Used to always use Chanel poudre universelle, which I loved, but can't justify the price anymore. Switched to No7 which was fine, but since they repackaged it doesn't seem to work so well. Tried max factor miracle veil which I found just didn't last.

I know it's just a powder but if there's something similar to the quality of the Chanel for less ££ I'd love to know.

Need something I can order on Amazon for next day delivery if possible.

The Laura Mercier one gets raves reviews but I'm guessing ££££ as well.

Have been looking at that one, it is less ££ than the Chanel though so may go for that if no other suggestions 👍

I like the Bareminerals mineral veil finishing powder - it's like silk and is so light. I'm late 40s with dry skin and it doesn't 'stick' anywhere it shouldn't either!

The hourglass veil one is nice

I use Rimmel Match Perfection loose powder. It is much better than Number 7. Although it is not as nice as the Dior one I used to use, the difference is not worth paying 8 times as much, plus Dior kept discontinuing colours and lines whereas Rimmel have been making the same loose powder for ever, and you can buy it anywhere.

Laura Mercier loose powder is lovely, you could opt for the travel size as it lasts for ages. It's a good way to try it out, plus easier to carry in a handbag etc.

Beware, even though it's called translucent, there is a slight yellowish undertone to the powder, so it may not suit all skintones.

I used to love the No.7 one, but they changed it recently and it's gone weird.

I like Rimmel March Perfect.

I'd also recommend Laura Mercier although I also use Hourglass which is good. I've just done a Look Fantastic order and there is 20% off LM with the code HURRY and as a pp said, you can by the travel size.

Laura mercier is excellent. It's still on the pricy side but a little goes a long way and the tub lasts for ages.

I've changed to a cheaper foundation but still stick to Laura mercier powder as nothing else compares to it in my opinion

Thanks everyone. Still haven't made my mind up but Laura mercier looks like a winner.

Fenty's loose powder - not cheap but you get a lot and they have a travel size if you want to try it.

The Laura Mercier one is fantastic. Check the shades for your skin tone as there's a few to choose from. A tub lasts ages so whilst it is £££, Boots and JL often have 15% off.

Hourglass
