Control shorts that work?

I bought some conturve shorts to go under a dress I’m wearing for a wedding and they were awful. Kept rolling down so sent them back.
Thought about trying Spanx or Skins but I’m interested in knowing how people rate them.
I just want to flatten my tummy a bit!

Spanx are good and I’ve had a pair from M and S that were fine too.

Best advice I had about choosing the size was to buy the size you are not the size you want to be.

i find any control underwear that goes up to under your bra just rolls down and looks awful. So now I buy shorts that are waist height. M&S does better control underwear than Spanx in my opinion. Take your dress to a larger store and try them on

You need to buy shape wear in a size up IME. Also don't expect it to do miracles. If a dress is too small, it isn't going to magically make it fit like on Tik Tok. They just give a smoother silhouette but the shape and size stays the same.
