Plus size, need to look smart on Tuesday

I’ve been WFH most most of the last 2 years, and the company i work for is fairly dress down. Suddenly I’ve got a meeting I’ve got to look smart for, and it’s on Tuesday when it will be stupidly hot and I’ll be in central London. I’m size 18/20, mid-40s and suddenly panicking about what to wear as I’ve nothing remotely suitable in the wardrobe. My few remaining smart work clothes are great in November, not in July. Willing to spending up to about £200. One of those clinggy dresses favoured by Nicola Sturgeon feels like it would be far too hot. I’ve found the following:

What sandals do you have?

The red in the first link is really nice. Tan footwear and maybe a thin belt too?

I can recommend Kemi Telford dresses. Particular the “free” dresses which are one size and tied with a belt, with voluminous sleeves. They’re great when you’re bigger and very cool and comfy.

@DisplayPurposesOnly I’ve got great sandals for gardening (and feet to match) I’ll probably be digging the ballet pumps out of the bank of the wardrobe

Love the crisp red shirt dress - I bet it will be a real wardrobe workhorse. I would wear a chunky sandal to stop it looking too prim - but that look could work too!
