Greek Foot/Birkies?

If you have a Greek foot, can you wear Birkies successfully?

All my friends with them have smaller feet than mine and also tidily arranged toes…I’m hovering over an only purchase but don’t want to fack about with sending them back if they are ALL WRONG…

I dont have Greek toe but think the toe will be quite uncomfortable rubbing on the footbed at the lip at the front.

My second toe is longer than my big toe and I wear Birkenstock Gizeh sandals (with a toe post) and they are great! I’ve not had any issues with rubbing and my toes fit comfortably inside (and my toes are definitely not dainty and neat!). I’m size 8(42) and they seem true to size.

I had no idea what Greek foot is but apparently I have it! I have size 8 feet so anything but dainty and I love my Birkenstock Arizonas.

I think it depends on exactly how Greek your feet are. My second toes are quite a bit longer than my first and I've never been able to make any style of Birkenstocks work for me. In order to accommodate the super-long second toe I'd have to buy a size up, and then it feels very insecure and I look like I've got a couple of massive cork tiles strapped to my feet with acres of empty space where the big toe should be.

But that's just my freaky feet. They might work for someone with a less extreme Greek foot. I wish I had nice neat Egyptian feet.

I can't get on with the ridge under the toes in birkies.

Hmm, maybe I need to find a pair in the flesh to check then, it’s the rim I was concerned about but the sizing up/lack of stability already happens to me in flip flops (either that or my toes hang over the edge of the base like I have the longest toes In. The. Universe.) Love the image of the cork tiles btw, I might cut my losses and hair elastic my toes to a couple of those instead…

Thanks all and solidarity in V shaped feet 🦶
