If you like these sandals which ones did you get, as I see that there is quite a few different styles?

I have plantar fasciitis and have always used Fit Flops but I’d like to try a different brand plus not spend so much either!

Another plantar fasciitis sufferer here. I like the look of them, but notice the more up to date reviews say they are a bit cheaply made and uncomfortable nowadays, unlike the older rave reviews.

I've got couple of pairs of originals, one with the ordinary soles, one with low flatforms.
I find them very comfortable and walk a lot in them. The straps can be a bit stiff to begin with, but because of the velcro they are very adjustable. The soles are very cushioned, which might help your PF.

I’ve just been to Italy and bought some sandals because I was suffering with achilles problems and my Birkenstock’s were too flat. I love the look of Teva but I ended up with the Sketcher D’Lux walker…. I have always been horrible about Sketchers but my god they’re so comfortable and I think cool looking. The slight lift in the heel gave me the relief for the achilles and they are super bouncy. Like mini trampolines in your feet.

I don’t care if they’re loathed I’ve not had them off my feet.

I have a bunch of the original leather flatforms in different colours and they are incredibly comfortable, you sort of spring along! I found the leather ones better than the textile as they don't get so hot. Some here: www.freepeople.com/uk/shop/flatform-universal-leather-teva-sandals/?color=007&type=REGULAR&quantity=1

I’ve got a couple of pairs of Teva flatform universals and I love them. I’d really like a leather pair next.

I got the midform and find them a bit too soft. They look cool but wish I'd got the originals.

GrimDamnFanjo · 15/07/2022 01:01

I have a pair of tirra and a flat form. I love them!

GrowlingManchego · 15/07/2022 01:25

New Tevas are not as good as they used to be.

VaVaVoombangabang · 15/07/2022 08:52

I have a pair (sorry cannot remember the name) and the straps rubbed so badly I ended up with lots of blisters, but persevered and it continued. Even tried wearing socks to help with the rubbing (indoors only!). No joy...

I also found them quite heavy and felt like I was dragging my feet if that makes sense, but did like the footbed which was comfortable, but alas they are in the cupboard, unloved.

I have some sports tevas. I think they are called Hurricane and they have proper soles and good for walking.

Shellingbynight · 15/07/2022 13:32

I have Kayenta sandals which are now 7 years old and still going strong, sadly they don't seem to make that style any more. This year I bought Midform Universals which I find really comfortable - so comfortable that I bought a second pair in a different colour.

EmbroidedFlowers · 15/07/2022 13:42

I recently bought the original universal style. Walked a lot in them while on holiday, they were so comfortable.

pinkymurder · 15/07/2022 13:44

I've got the original flat ones and the midforms.

I wore the midforms for 2 weeks in Italy recently without breaking them in first, they were perfect. Seemed pretty waterproof too, I went in the sea in them most days and they're still good as new.

The flat ones don't have as much cushion, I don't find them as comfy.

AdelaideRo · 15/07/2022 19:40

I wear Teva sandals a lot and have done since I got my first pair in Australia in 2000.

I don't get on with the universal ones at all - they don't fit my foot shape - they seem to be more long & thin and if I wear them I often end up tripping up quite a lot. I have quite wide square feet.

I currently have a couple of pairs of Hurricane ones and have just ordered a replacement pair. I previously liked Terra Fi Lite which disappeared from the range last summer but are back this year chose not to order them as the colour options weren't as good!

Terra Fi are quite "hiking" for town sandals so I choose not to buy them unless they are the only option.

CatLadyDrinksGin · 15/07/2022 21:03

I had a pair of leather ones over 20 years ago, most comfortable thing ever. Never found a decent replacement! Dh has the terra fi fabric ones and lives in them over the summer.
