Does anyone have a simple skincare routine? If so what is it & what products do you use?

I think a basic one would be:

A cleanser - these come in lots of formulations and textures. I like a balm or oil but I know others like a more "washy/foamy"
My favourite balm or oil is Oskia, Then I Met You or the M&S rose balm

Then moisturiser - I don't think you need to go fancy. La Roche Posay or Cerave have good moisturisers

In the morning use Spf.

Extras
If you want to add in more elements, vitamin C serum in the morning is nice.

I use Tret at night which is Retinol - increases cell turnover so skin looks more youthful *

You might also like to exfoliate - ren aha or Paula's Choice BHA are good options.

It depends on you age, but cleanse, peptide serum, retinol and then a moisturiser in the evening, and then cleanse, peptide serum, vitamin c serum, then SPF in the morning.

Medik8 do a lovely range of retinols and vitamin c serums.

Also if you're on Facebook try following Caroline Hirons Skincare Freaks group, it's amazing and very informative. The only problem with this though is you may end up spending a fortune on skincare 😂

Also Dermarica is really good for any specific skincare concerns such as sun damage or acne

Well I moisturise morning and evening, how simple do you want to go?!

Very simple. Garnier vitamin c serum followed by Ambre solaire SPF 50 then my make up. At night I use wipes to remove make up then just warm water and a flannel. I have recently started using the skin + me cleanser but I don't use it every night. I then use my skin + Me doser which contains Tretinoin, Niacinamide and Azelaic acid. I sometimes add a moisturiser before or after my doser if my skin needs more moisturiser and I usually use Cerave moisturising cream or Lacura rose oil. I've been using skin+me for about two years I think to help with aging tretinoin is what you really need and always a good SPF.

Soap and water. I'm in my 50s.

Over the years I have spent thousands on skincare and really regret it. I would just advise spf in the morning, I like la roche posay or garnier and cleanse and moisturise in the evening. I use cerave, aveeno or avene. I don't think actives make any difference in stopping/ reversing ageing.

Thanks everyone. I currently use LRP cleanser which I really like & use micellar water to remove make up. I will look at LRP moisturisers. I just have to be careful with what I use on my skin as it’s quite sensitive - so many things break me out or causes small bumps under the skin.

Tried skin+me & didn’t get along with it i don’t know if it was the niacinamide or what it was.
