Can u ID this Mulberry handbag?

We found this when clearing an elderly relative's house.

Is it real? How old do u think it might be? And is it worth anything?

I would vote 'not genuine Mulberry and worthless', unfortunately.

By looking at the strap I would say it's a fake.

The topstitching is very uneven.

It's trying to be a 'Daria' with that plaque. As others have said, the stitching's wrong, the lettering is wrong and there shouldn't be any leather visible through the plaque.
