Are they wearing something like this rather than a dangly back?

Walkacrossthesand · 14/07/2022 09:13

Following - I know the ones you mean, a simple gold stud attached to a fine chain ending in a solid segment - the solid segment threads through the pierced hole, the stud sits in the normal place and the solid segment dangles down at the back. I saw them on someone years ago, have never seen them for sale

Any Mumsnet jewellery makers out there?! PM me if so Wink

@Walkacrossthesand look at the link in my previous comment. Or Google "pull through earrings"

cathyandclare · 14/07/2022 18:31

I had some of these, years ago, they were long fine diamante strands attached to a butterfly earring back. I mourn them, they attached to my everyday studs for evening. Not helpful, sorry, just posting for the expert advice!

cathyandclare · 14/07/2022 18:33

I may have got the wrong end of the stick, these were separate backs not thread through earrings.

JustAnotherDayWorkingAtHome · 14/07/2022 21:47

Thanks. The drop definitely attaches at the back on the ones I’ve seen. I’ll keep looking thank you!

Do you mean threader earrings? Very popular at the moment.

JustAnotherDayWorkingAtHome · 17/07/2022 22:04

@LadyPoison is that what they are called yes those sound exactly what I’m looking for
