Hi All,

Hoping for some tried and trusted recommendations.

We are due to head off on a 7 night holiday at the end of the month and I'm looking for a lightweight / waterproof foundation or perhaps a tinted moisturiser to wear day to day around the pool.

I am very self conscious of my skin and couldn't possibly head out for the day without having some coverage on my face. My skin isn't horrendous by any means it's just mainly me and my self consciousness.

Any suggestions would be most welcome :)

Not tried this myself
But saw a la Roche posey sunscreen foundation recommended recently

So many options I can think of! I'm just back from Spain and used Garnier BB cream. This is the best value and worked amazing for me! If you want an SPF, the La Roche Posay tinted cream is amazing!

La-Roche Posay Anthelios Anti-Shine Tinted - (helps with shine)
Garnier BB cream

Estée Lauder do a tinted moisturiser that blends and matches with your skin tone. I can’t remember what it is called. It smells of cucumber if you are passing a counter and could ask.

Thank you all so much, I'll head in to Boots and have a look at some of your suggestions. Thank you x

I've just bought The Ordinary serum foundation. I've tried it a couple of times and really like it. A good price too.

I tend to just use a BB cream, it has spf 30 in it and covers really well. Since coming out of lockdown I've made it my normal foundation

Id really recommend a tinted spf rather than a tinted moisturiser with spf. It makes a difference. I always wear ultasun. Only brand that never breaks me out

Mac face and body is my go to in summer

Ordinary serum foundation on top of a SPF50 sunscreen.

Or for more coverage the IT cosmetics foundation with SPF 50
