Really baggy jeans!

I'm interested in these, a blast from the past, but love the idea with fitted tops and knits. My head still twists towards skinny fit but these make a great alternative.

Anyone else tried anything in this style? A lot of wide leg jeans/cords aren't really 'baggy', but these truly are. If so, how do you stye them? I probably wouldn't go for the cropped top option...

Really baggy jeans!

Anyone? I tried these today and they are sooo comfy. Might have to buy some taller trainers though Grin

Where are they from? 😍Totally swooning over them.

I love baggy jeans but as you say they’re really hard to come by (I resort to ebay for lightly used ones). Baggy trousers are just sooo much more comfortable. Especially since I made the move to period pants/csp and get paranoid about the outline showing.

I’d pair with fitted band/movie t shirts or a nice plain t shirt.

Love them!

I have some baggy jeans in this style from Mango and HM (Lee for HM)

I wear them with a slightly loose slightly cropped tee , or a fitted vest too with a loose cropped jumper. This t-shirt works for me: www.wraplondon.co.uk/fashion-ZB09/linen-jersey-tshirt.htm

I have had to try lots of different tops/jumpers. I find that most new tops/jumpers suit the loose trousers (the tunic tops had to go, am sick of tunic tops and skinnies)

these are what you want. £25. In 4 jeans colours, high waisted, 90’s wide legs.

What about these or these from Kin at John Lewis.

Great links, thank you!
The one in the image is superdry. They are fantastic quality too.

I really like this look, it takes me back a bit but with good reason - a lower waist, but not too low (i have a short torso so they fit just like mid) and great with tighter tops to either tuck in or whatever.

How old are you? I am 50 and am loving the baggies, reminding me of how I dressed in the 90s

OnenessWithAllStrife · 13/07/2022 20:16

I'm 48!
I think the whole 90's thing is youth focused but a lot of the cuts and styles are easily adapted to anyone really. It depends how you wear it, as with everything. I wouldn't want to go back to platforms or short tops though so would get jeans shortened and wear with my birks/trainers.

Not sure I'd wear baggy trousers in winter, I do still like skinny and slim fit too, so that's good. It's great how so many things are available now, possibly the best time to dress ourselves there is so much choice. Enjoy it while we can!

Superdry, and same! My inner fourteen year old is SO up for these!

True they are most likely to be found in young people's shops, the market seems to think that anyone over thirty wants waistbands up to their tits.
