Night out in a heatwave?!

What would you wear on a night out in 26 degrees? Drinks and dancing. My style is more casual / minimalist.

Usually I'd wear a jumpsuit and trainers, or blouse and high waisted jeans. On holiday I'd wear floaty dresses for a meal out but they won't work for a big night out here... I'm totally lost!

I'd go for a dress with elbow length sleeves. You can choose a very lightweight fabric but the sleeves'll keep it not too beech-y. But a dress definitely, or let's face it anything you'll be comfy in in this weather!

Thanks, that's nice but is it still a bit daytime? I've never worn a maxi dress out in the evening... I expect I'll be surrounded by Gen Zers in y2k slip dresses and crop tops and worried I'll feel like their mum in that!
