Hi
i have a bit of an issues with cellulite. I am 49 recently had diagnosed auto immune condition hashi. Have low haematocrit (low red blood cells).

I eat super healthy and balanced diet, don’t smoke and don’t drink much. No coffee or any juice or fizzy drinks, but do suffer from migraines.

last two years I have developed cellulite on my legs which is really bothering me. I exercise drink water and dry brush but nope not shifting. Apart from resorting to eat lettuce 🥬 forever is there any treatments that could help along :(
I would love to wear a shorts or dress but hate my legs and it’s really getting me down. Thanks so much 💜

Ps forgot to say that I am slim could lose 2kg max but really not more. I suspect those two extra kilos I gained in the last two years are the cellulite!!!

No solutions I’m afraid. But when I see a slim woman in shorts with cellulite my overwhelming feeling towards that person is positive and I want to thank them for normalising it.

Cellulite is almost entirely genetic and there isn’t anything you can do about it.
I have had it since puberty and never been overweight. It isn’t because of fat but related to your connective tissue formation. Unfortunately you just have to learn to try to ignore it.

Thanks so much for your replies. I have not had much of it until 2 years ago when my auto immune condition developed hence thinking it may be something I can do about it.

I’ve had mine since puberty, it isn’t anything to do with my weight as I was 7st at the time. Brushing makes the surface of the skin look better and a tan helps with that too but I’ve had to learn to live with it.
At least I didn’t inherit my mums varicose vein like my sister!

@Catlitterqueen Sadly I have VV too :( had operation on one leg which was great now need to do the other leg. I had pain so had to have it done but would have probably had it anyway. Now considering treatments for cellulite it’s something that bothers me and I believe with meno a lot is taken away from us women and I would like just something back like my legs :)

I have quite a lot of cellulite on my thighs, I don’t really like having it but I still wear shorts and have been wearing a bikini all day. I’m 40 and a size 12, I could lose a little weight but then I look unwell, I walk every day, swim, stay pretty fit and eat healthy.
