Mid 40s dehydrated skin

What can I do for dehydrated skin? I don't have dry patches but across my cheeks is quite "crinkly". I drink at least 2 litres of water a day, I do vape which I'm sure is not good though. I currently have the Body Shop Drops of Youth range which has improved it but not enough.

CeraVe PM moisturiser is excellent.

I have dry skin. I have a really nice routine at the moment my skin is glowing.

I use a balm cleanser (have a few on rotation)
Tret
Espa Serum
La Roche Posay moisturiser / baume if need extra
Squalene oil or vaseline

I don't get on with Cerave. Skincare is so personal

I agree, CeraVe is miraculous for me but others have said it breaks them out.

It's funny how we all react differently! I find La Roche excellent but others have said the same.

Unfortunately I think it's all trial and error till you find your holy grail products!

Will have a look at Cerave and LRP, thanks. I have a few wrinkles appearing but they don't really bother me, just need the crinkles gone

My skin was so dehydrated that it was peeling. I used Paulas choice hydrating toner which sorted it out in 3 days. Some of the Korean ones are lovely too. I just used any moisturiser that was on offer on top.

Someone on here recommended the Hada Labo super hydrator to me and at first I thought it was rubbish because its so watery but for some reason I can't be without it now! It's great if you have dehydrated but not necessarily dry skin. The consistency makes it good for layering with other skincare. I can't do my AM or PM routine without it.

It's watery because it's more of an essence/lotion by the way so not meant to be gloopy like a serum.

I’m using the Aussie Flyer Mask, a Bronze Award winner. Excellent, and reasonably priced… would recommend.
