I'm 40 now and I need some sort of routine, I'm starting to fray around the edges!

So- starting Monday I will be:

Giving up alcohol
water +++
steps
dry skin brushing
moisturising

i need help with any other high impact, low cost/time things I can introduce as habits which might help. The only thing I currently do is get eyebrows/eyelashes done twice a month.

I want to look polished!

Why wait till Monday?
You can up your water intake now you can moisturize now just do it! X

I think exercise is the most high-impact, low cost thing you could do. Get running and buy a few dumbbells or kettlebells.

Was going to add, do a short work out routine every day, I've started doing some low impact weight routines with body fit by Amy and they are really good!

@swedex thank you. Great advice. I'm away from home just now but am defo going to do water and walking today! I don't want to buy any more moisturiser though so that can wait!!

yes, work out. I have kettlebells so will find a YouTuber to get into a routine with!

Sleep! Go to bed earlier and nap if you get on well with naps. I find anything longer than 30 minute too much and too tiring.
Cut down on caffeine, sugar and processed food.
Quit smoking if you smoke
Iron or steam your clothes if they are wrinkly. I do them all in one go so my wardrobe is ready
Mend or replace anything that looks worn or tired
Floss or use interdental brushes or waterfloss if you don't do this daily already
moisturize your hands and feet before bed

Ah yes! I forgot about sleep! I'm on AL so very much hoping to get a nap in!!

Do you wear sunscreen OP? If not, then I would recommend you start using it everyday.
Get a quick skincare routine going in the morning and evening, I use it as my wake up/wind-down time, only take a few minutes but it helps me feel more put together. You don't need loads of products, but sunscreen is important.
