Husband useless with this. What do we think for a boozy brunch in the sun?

Opinions 😑

I really like the jacket dress and shoes but not sure they go?

CurlsLDN · 08/07/2022 19:12

Sorry op but it seems a bit mismatched to me - tailored blazer, soft romantic dress and heavy shoes. To my eyes it doesn't seem to go together. Maybe strappy gold sandals might help pull it together

PinkBubb · 08/07/2022 19:12

I’m thinking shoes def a no. Don’t match at all do they?

Oh please don’t be sorry. I appreciate the comment. I don’t mind the juxtaposition of the flowy dress and blazer so much, but wondered if it was a bit too far

The jacket and shoes don’t go with the dress. Shoes need to more delicate, jacket is too long and wrong colour.

Pifflewiffle · 08/07/2022 19:15

I like everything individually but not so much together as an outfit.

PinkBubb · 08/07/2022 19:16

Would white trainers make a difference or is it back to the drawing board altogether?

Do you have a neutral open fronted crochet cardigan or something like that? Yes nude or goldy sandals or wedges?

Or if you like the blazer then wear it with a stripey cami and jeans and big hoops? 80s vibe!

OxanaVorontsova · 08/07/2022 19:19

Do you even need the/a jacket?

GoldenEclipse · 08/07/2022 19:23

Lose the blazer.

ShirleyPhallus · 08/07/2022 19:24

Another vote for no to the shoes. Tbh it’s so hot atm you won’t need the jacket thing either

some nice sandals with the dress and you’re good to go

RuthW · 08/07/2022 19:32

The dress is lovely. The shoes are ok but the jacket is frumpy i my opinion but I'm 54 so maybe it's trendy again lol.

chillinwithmygnomies · 08/07/2022 19:37

I'm thinking no to the jacket, dress is lovely though

LunaLoveFood · 08/07/2022 19:40

Strappy sandals or flip flops and a denim jacket if needed?

PinkBubb · 08/07/2022 19:43

Thanks all! I think you’re right that the jacket and dress separately are decent, but not together.

I bought the dress years ago and try it every time I have an event and always end up picking something else. I think it’s cause I feel my upper half is quite exposed.

Sleeveless black midi dress is not choice 1… and don’t worry, with no white blazer! 😂

Gosh - you will hate me for this but it looks very middle-aged.

PinkBubb · 08/07/2022 19:46

I think it’s a mix of the lace and blazer shape that does it. I agree v v middle aged. Although im no spring chicken either

OP posts:
Pifflewiffle · 08/07/2022 20:13

im not sure the right style of dress for white trainers.

PandoraP · 08/07/2022 21:53

Sorry OP, but that outfit does nothing for me at all. I think it’s really frumpy so I would go back to the drawing board completely here .

KirstenBlest · 08/07/2022 22:36

The dress and sandals are nice but you'd need a black jacket (biker/chore/jean) to balance them.
The sleeveless blazer isn't my sort of thing at all, sorry.

White trainers/daps and a cotton cardigan or shrug over the shoulders/dress would look great

milkysmum · 08/07/2022 22:41

Really sorry it's a no to the outfit as a whole from me. It's probably very ageist to say, but it makes me thing of a grandmothers outfit.
