Hi all,

Has anyone tried Medik8 skin care and if so could you recommend anything and your experience?

I'm sick of just using rubbish skincare and feel it's time to sort my skin out - I have really dry, sometimes a bit rosy and spotty, oily in places and need a bit of a lift!

Thank you Grin

I've never used it but I'll look into it. Have you ever tried Dr Dennis or Dermalogica?

I rate it and regularly re buy Press and Glow and Vitamin C tetra. I started on their Retinal to build up before moving to Tret.
They sell travel sizes, you could buy some to see if it suits?
I rarely buy from their website, it’s worth shopping around once you know the products you like.

I use it and recommend it.

It was introduced to me by my salon (a duo operation who have been two decades in business but are incredibly thorough with their research and attending the big shows, ie, always keep on top of new developments while also keeping in mind the long-term benefits for clients, and for budgets).

There are many great products on the market these days, but it’s worth understanding the science and the producer.

A bit pricier than Boots, but meant to be used sparingly, and great results for those who follow the advice.

I use it and really like it. Haven’t tried their Vitamin C but like their Crystal Retinal, Press & Glow and Sleep Glycolic. If you check out Look Fantastic, Cult Beauty etc you can often get it with something off - I find it lasts ages as well.

Thank you all sooo much!

Where is best to start? I'm unsure what I need for my skin type / skin goal Blush

Just this:
Medik8 Retinoate
It's the best & there's an offer on it.

I also use the day one, but it's the one in the black bottle I rate.

Littleguggi · 08/07/2022 20:40

I've been using their eye cream, vit c day cream and rosemary cleanser for the past few months and have to say I'm not impressed and won't be purchasing again. For the ££ I spent it's literally made no difference to my skin.

Ohsugarhoneyicetea · 08/07/2022 21:13

I agree the R-RETINOATE INTENSE is amazing, but very expensive. The crystal retinal is also very good and much less pricey. The c tetra is a good vit c serum.

jeaux90 · 09/07/2022 15:40

Used their stuff for about 8 years, totally recommend it.

I'd start simple with a set for your skin type but really recommend the C tetra and then SPF moisturiser for the morning/day. I layer in something else too for my skin type.

Night, I'm not sure how old you are etc I'm 50 so I went high end on that and have several products that I layer.

Their chat function is good and they usually reply to comments or questions that you post.

I've been using the c-tetra vit c luxe for over a year and really like it. It's an oil but suits my very dry skin well. I also really liked the crystal retinal too but I got lazy using it.
