I need your help please. Turning 40 soon and wanting a dress for the occasion that will help make me feel amazing. I’m in a hot country and want an evening type dress (i.e long dress). I’m 5 foot 7, size 8ish with a pretty flat chest.
budget would be up to £500. I will be in the UK next week so can go try on/order to there.

I had dreams of a slinky yellow dress but can’t find anything that doesn’t scream bridesmaid or prom dress. Happy with other colours but not black ideally.

Basically I need inspiring as no idea what to search for or where!!

I love Rixo. Have a dress from there for a wedding but can’t find anything ‘evening wear’ style currently there which is really what I’m looking for

To be fair for £500 I’d ask a dress maker to make you one to fit. Look at design rather than colour and go from there

How about gold? I've got this for my 40th this year. The fabric is light enough for hot weather and it arrived quickly from the US.

Otherwise I'd look at Reformation. They have some beautiful dresses.

You could always buy a white dress and hve it dyed

Hi, I’m looking for a dress for my son’s graduation. I’m 56, 5’3 and apple shaped. I don’t like very structured stuff, and I don’t think I suit midi type dresses.

My legs are ok, but I’m short at the top, so anything low shows my boobs.
