Under eye concealer

Looking to replace an ancient Clarins one I have which I feel may be too drying on me. I don't wear concealer every day. Only when I'm tired. But may I ask for recommendations? I'm 56 with very light olive skin. Not too wrinkled, but I feel I'd like something which hydrates a little too.

im On the lookout for a hydrating light reflecting under eye concealer too. I’ve the sense there must be something more affordable than the Nars? Revolution seems to offer a lot of options and I think the It Cosmetics under eyeilluminator concealer is on offer here and there. I’m still using YSL toucheeclat!

I used YSL Touché eclat years ago and found it very drying. I like the idea of an illuminating one tho @KalaniM

MAC Longwear is very nearly as good as NARS and much cheaper. Nice and thick. Can't abide these runny ones.

Touche eclat is not actually meant for under the eyes, although people use if for that. It's a highlighter.

I love the Superdrug revolution concealer, thick and great coverage. One I use is called hydrate I think

@faffadoodledo don't worry, it's a common mistake! It's totally overpriced as well.

Yes! Touché eclat is very over priced. Somehow or other it DOES effectively disguise dark circles under the eyes though, and doesn’t look cakey. I put heaps of hydration under it.

im trying Inkey List brightening eye cream too. Any port in a storm.

You'd probably like Shape Tape from Tarte. I'll also recommend the Bobbi Brown vitamin eye cream which is what I used under my concealer & corrector.

NARS creamy radiant concealer. I won’t use anything else. One of the best make up investments I’ve made !

It's what I use not used!

I love the Charlotte tilbury colour corrector one, it's a cream in a compact so doesn't dry me out - I put on the finest amount, because it's a colour corrector rather than concealer you need way less of it to neutralise the tired eyes colour (pink to neutralise the blue). It makes me look fresh! I can wear under makeup if I'm putting effort in, or on its own and it just makes me look refreshed.

Tarte shape tape is rather heavy for aging eyes.

Lots of lovely suggestions thanks everyone. I live a long way from a make up counter so sadly might be challenged by finding the correct Nars shade (so many!). But I'm liking the sound of the Charlotte Tilbury and the Benefit one. Will investigate!!

NARS, definitely, I've tried loads but in fairness I've not tried the MAC one.

I loved the NARS creamy radiant concealer until I tried NARS soft matte complete concealer - I haven’t gone back. The best I have tried yet, but I still want to try IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Full Coverage Anti-Aging as I have heard good things.

I found Tarte shape tape settled in creases.

Mostly NARS online do a colour match system with your current concealer/foundation.
