Need a shoerobe! What are your basics?

I am fed up of my old, worn, knackered shoes and the lackluster selection I currently own. I can't remember when I last bought a pair!
Recently I have been having a bit of a wardrobe overhaul post maternity wear/BF wear and I'd like to move onto shoes.
Could anyone help me find the below or link/recommend brands or styles worth a look?

I am looking for:

  • everyday plain trainers to chuck on with anything

  • ankle boots to dress up or down (no high heel)

  • waterproof walking knee high boots

  • nice classy knee high boots

  • slip ons/loafers preferably black and not too complicated

I would like to just have a nice solid selection of basics that go with most things.
What does everyone wear nowadays? Especially trainer wise?

My current favourite ankle boots. www.allsole.com/footwear/clarks-women-s-orinoco-2-stud-leather-biker-boots-black/13137657.html They are very tight the first few days but slaken off brilliantly. I live in mine.

My trainers are platform adidas, but I would love a pair of air and grace, just can't justify the cost right now.

Good God woman, unless you have been in a coma or have amnesia there is no excuse for this - I don't think I've ever heard a woman utter these words 😂.

I would say:
trainers: I like my plain black Nike airs - super comfy and look ok style wise. Vejas are popular but they have given me corns!(tough vegan "leather") but maybe try the fabric ones. My personal favourite trainers are golden goose but they are expensive and not everyone's taste.

Ankle boots: Aspiga and Sosander both do nice suede ankle boots

Waterproof boots: you can't go wrong with dubarrys

nice knee high boots: again I would look at Aspiga or Sosander for mid-price range - something a bit nicer I'd try Russell and Bromley, jones the boot maker or Penelope Chilvers

loafers: I have no idea as my only loafers are Gucci ones and I'm not sure how much you're wanting to spend!

Best black loafers are the classic bass weejuns. The original and best.

Following with interest

I have nice trainers
www.whitestuff.com/accessories-and-shoes/womens-shoes/blue-mlt-colour-block-retro-sneaker/

And these DM's www.drmartens.com/uk/en_gb/2976-leonore-black/p/21045001?gclid=Cj0KCQjwn4qWBhCvARIsAFNAMiiwAs_Jcl8nTBv6mKDpvwTCYTExIoOOjcP9_MsW3xjESB07HHQyl8caAkUmEALw_wcB

But I also need dog walking boots, something else flat that are not ankle boots or trainers but I don’t really like loafers, so unsure what!

Also need something to replace my 20 year old favourite leather flip flops. They are finally wearing through :(
