Alternative to Stan Smiths

I love my Stan Smiths but I'm looking for an alternative as they are no longer available in leather. I tried the vegan ones but sent them back as they were hard and uncomfortable. Can anyone suggest a replacement?

Are they really as comfortable as everyone makes out? I bought a plain pair of white fitflop' rally' trainers because everyone raved that they were soooo comfortable- they are not. That was £100 wasted, I've also got plain pair of white Nikes (similar style) ... they rub at the back.

Try Ted Baker/Lacoste. They have similar styles in leather.

You're right.. not leather, I had wrongly assumed they were and had not looked at the info. Maybe this is where I'm going wrong.. I'm assuming leather and they are plastic!

I'm a size 7 in Stan Smiths and Adidas didn't have any left unfortunately. I wasn't even worried about the colour!

I've found mine to be the most comfortable trainers I've had so I thought I'd try the plastic ones but they were too hard. I also wasn't happy paying the same for plastic as I did for leather!

Actually, just looked on eBay and there are a few new pairs on there. Might stock up.

I adore my Adidas Superstars. Dead comfy. They are available in leather, and in loads of colourways

I can't find them in leather anywhere!

Schuh seem to have some Superstars in leather so I might try ordering from them.

Still gutted they ruined Stan Smiths though!

I've just bought Onitsuka Mexico 66's for the same reason! So far they are really lovely and comfortable.

I find my Stan Smiths pretty uncomfortable tbh. They are hard underfoot and don't yield as you walk, nor does your foot mould in over time. And the bit at the back is higher than most shoes and rubs my heel if I haven't worn them for a while.

I brought some similar style from Ralph Lauren. They are leather. Plain white with a navy pony to the side abs navy tab at the back like Stan smiths.

Hi Light, I just bought another pair of Adidas Superstars! If it ain't broke, don't fix it ☺️

Adidas 80s Continental. Much comfier and a nicer profile, IMHO.

I have Superstars in leather. Look nice but not 100% comfortable IMO.
