Trainers - thoughts on these Nike Waffles?

Someone on another thread recommended Nike Waffle Trainers. I've had a look and quite like them as a neutral trainer to wear over the summer with jeans/ dresses etc. I showed my teen daughter though and she hated them so no I'm not sure if these are on trend or not?
She just told me to get some Air Force 1s ( she won't wear anything else ) but I fancied something different. Looked for some new balance 327s in white but they are out of stock everywhere.
So what are people's thoughts- yey or nay??

It was meeee! I took a stealth pic of a girl wearing them. They look awesome in real life but I've no idea where to buy them. The sizing is untrustworthy so I'd rather try them on.

The nice thing about being a grown-up is that you don't have to give a shit what a teen thinks of your shoes and also you will never be cool to your teen, so fuck it . They're good and perfectly on trend, so if you like them and they fit, go for it.

Teen DD here told me definitely not to get AF1's as she thinks they are too boring and everyone wears them

I have 2 pairs of these- so so comfy (and I am disabled with chronic pain and joint problems so not much is comfy!)

Those New Balance are gorgeous- they are the ones I was looking at in white that are out of stock- love that colour you have posted though- might lol at something like that next.

I think an airforce 1 would probably look better with a dress due to their shape, but they are a very flat shoe compared to the usual Nike and I wouldn't find that comfortable. I like the ones you've posted Op
