Stylish capsule wardrobe ideas, please!

So… following another thread of mine this morning, I’m looking to build a good quality, stylish capsule wardrobe. Would love suggestions of hard-working, versatile, stylish items (and how many of each), colours, etc. I have small children so easy care (for me, that’s not too much ironing) would be good. Not against stylish sports/performance wear. Links would be great, too! Thank you!

I think a decent wool jumper in a classic simple style and colour. I have one from navygrey
A waterproof jacket that can smart or casual, protected species are good
Basic T shirts in whichever style suits your body (crew neck or v/scoop) but I'd say slouchier style rather than fitted as I feel these will stand test if time more, can be tucked in or left loose
Shirts- white/striped
Peasant blouse type top in white for summer
