Lucy &Yak Dungaree sizing?

I'm considering buying some dungarees and wondered about the sizing, and if they come up large or small, as I'm around size 8-10

I'm still in two minds about whether to buy dungarees at all to be honest!

Definitely buy them! They are very happiness boosting in my experience.

To answer your question though, it depends on the style. I have a pair of corduroy L&Ys which are huge even after I sized down. But my other pair in plain cotton is true to size.

Follow the size guide on their site. It does depend on the style, and generally they look best a bit loose. I'm an 8-10 and wear S.

I don't have a big bum, that's just my username. The dungarees are very easy to wear, and you don't have to undo the straps to go to the loo.

I'm also in two minds whether I want some! I remember wearing them every day when I was a kid in the 80s. Love the fact they're back in style but feel that 50 I'd be too old for them.

Thanks! I've just hit the big 50!! But I'm told I look 10 years younger so I may be able to get away with it! 😅

Well I ordered the size 12 regular in the original dungarees and they were massive!! I followed the sizing guide provided. I wear 12 and am 5 ft 2, and prefer a regular leg. I knew they would be on the larger side but truly this was like wearing a material sack especially as it was the colour of one too, stone. So back they go.
