Travelling handbag

I’m travelling around Europe on train this summer and I’m planning on taking a small day pack but just a cheap quesha one I usually use for skiing, but I would like a hand bag for possibly days when I don’t need small backpack.
The issue is, I have a pretty sizeable chest and find cross over bags make my boobs look even bigger and I feel fairly self conscious of it. The straps sit in the middle and just ‘separates’ them.
What kind of bag could I take? I can’t decide if taking a nice backpack would be the better option? Or just suck up the cross over bag boob situation.

Would you consider a bum bag?! I’ve just bought a nice leather one and don’t feel too stupid wearing it. Otherwise, a small leather backpack?

Have a look at Lacoste handbags on Amazon.

I did think a small leather handbag as it’s some way in between handbag and backpack.
I like the idea of a bumbag but my teenager would die of embarrassment.

I would take a handbag because some museums/galleries can be funny about rucksacks and ask you to check them in.

I have a small Longchamp pliage which is deceptively roomy - I think you can get them with long shoulder straps?

It is not just my boobs that are oversized!
I don't like backpacks unless hiking as they are a security risk and you have to take them off to get the contents. But I do like to have my hands free so I use a cross body bag. For travel I use a Kipling Alvar as it will fit my travel docs, purse, sanitiser, phone, glasses and water bottle. Plus it weighs nothing before it is filled which is good and it has nice long straps. When I want to be more upmarket I use a camera style bag, but that always seems heavier and doesn't take as much and definitely not a water bottle.
Bum bags are for theme parks, festivals and dog walks only.
