My DD second birthday is in October and I've seen some Vans in the sale and was thinking of buying them now while they're cheap.
She is currently a size 5 (euro 22). Do i buy a size 5.5 or 6?
i've never bought her trainers in advanced before, so I'm not sure what size to get.

In my experince vans come up big

Get the 6,she can grow into them, and probably walk better in them!

You need to wait and try them on. Toddlers feet can grow fast... or not grow for months.

A 2yo won't know they are for her birthday so you can do it a week or two before and she won't be any the wiser.

@Aroundtheworldin80moves thanks but they're in the sale now. I don't think they'll be in the sale in October.

@Yodaisawally Thanks!! I'll get the 6 and she can grow into them 😊

I've bought shoes in advance for my 3 year old boy with the idea of saving money and got it wrong before because he'd grown. Some light up batman trainers...ended being worn twice and they were just too small.

So more of a waste to buy in advance and worn only twice than waiting and paying more and them actually fitting.

I agree sorry, no point in buying that far in advance when they grow so fast at this age.

I guess if you get them in a much bigger size she’ll definitely fit them at some point, but you’ll need to keep getting her feet measured to know when they are the right size.
