Help me find an outfit please

My son is passing out of the army next month in Harrogate and clueless what to wear. I am a size 10-12 and 5 feet 3 with a little belly.
Any help really appreciated please!

Hope and Ivy have got a sale on OP. I'm 5ft 3 too so I know it's tricky - a lot of these are for our taller sisters but there's some that would work I think.

Not too formal. A summer dress is fine.

I thought they were more smart/casual no hats etc is there an actual dress code?

I’ve only been to one, but it definitely wasn’t wedding type attire

Not much help, but my son is passing out at the same time, and I’m in the same predicament. I must’ve looked out at hundreds of dresses and nothing looks quite right- all either too formal or too casual. Good luck!

YouTube can be useful….here is last year’s passing out parade - with a few shots of the audience.
Looks pretty relaxed - plenty of men in suits, although some are more casual, and a nice summer dress (no hat) looks a good option for women - but nothing too formal. Maybe a wrap dress? Boden and John Lewis have quite a few.
