Eyeliner pencil that doesn't run - REALLY doesn't run

Hi, have any of you found an eyeliner pencil that really, really, honestly doesn't run? Cost immaterial this time - it's for The Mother who wants it for a wedding she's going to and it'll be a little present. So I'm happy to pay but do want to get it right. She is running-eyelinerphobic and I'll never hear the end of it if it goes wrong!

Honestly no pencils are run proof for me but the Kiko gel liner is. Only £8 so worth a try maybe

It’s taken me a while but I’ve come to realise that it doesn’t matter how bomb proof my eyeliner is, it’s all about the make up I’ve used under my eyes. Any foundation or concealer that is at all oily or creamy makes my eyeliner run so I have to apply it really carefully and try and keep it away from the eye line as much as possible.

Second what @ClocksGoingBackwards has said, but also highly recommend the Avon Glimmersticks for staying power.

Wunderbrow liner. Stays put amazingly well - I went out yesterday to a metal gig, danced, sweated, head banged for hours and it was still perfectly in place 8 hours after I put on

Urban decay. That stuff is bulletproof.

I just bought a Victoria Beckham satin Kajal liner. It is VERY soft and stays so to enable you to smudge it where you want to but then sets and did not move all day. I wasn't doing anything particularly sweaty but it was a hot day, and it also survived my putting in eye drops without budging.

Seconding Urban Decay. It’s as stay-put as a sharpie!

Urban Decay or Tarte. Sweat and tear proof.

Avon glimmerstick is fab for me.

Why oh why do so many eye liner pencil manufacturers get it so wrong. I am sick of pencils being either too hard or too soft.
Basically being unusable.
It's not rocket science. Do they bother to test them? I'm sitting here with two swollen eyelids because a Catrice eye pencil was too hard and dragged on my eyelids. A Korres eyepencil I have, the colour is fabulous but is so hard it's unusable.,
Boots eye pencils are lovely and soft but may run.

Randomly the lancome one I got as a freebie many years ago.

Another vote for Urban Decay. Gorgeous colours too.

e.l.f. Lock on liner - it’s a little pot of cream that you apply with an angled brush, so not a pencil as such, but it DOES NOT move seriously ALL day and you can make it a sort of smudgy effect with a brush.
