Matte-ish tinted face fluid - does it exist?

Anyone got any ideas for this... what I want is something to pop on my face in the mornings that will give just a small amount of coverage/blurring but it's got to be suitable for my oily skin so I don't really want it to be moisturising/dewy and I need it to be oil free/non comedogenic.

Does this product exist???

Following.

I use mineral powder sparingly atm, but am interested in fluids.

rosesarepinkvioletsarepurple · 27/06/2022 14:32

It's hard because I don't want to look powdery and I don't find powders give me the finish I want, but I also don't want to look dewy. Does this exist?! I feel like I need a tinted serum or something

Have a read of this, mineral foundation as you blend it with a kabuki brush goes quite creamy, it's not a powdery finish I don't find.

theemmadilemma · 27/06/2022 15:31

(I have oily T section.)

LadyOfTheCanyon · 27/06/2022 15:39

What about Perricone No foundation Foundation?

rosesarepinkvioletsarepurple · 27/06/2022 19:01

Interesting thank you both. I will read about the mineral make up. Problem is I have never got on with loose powder, it gets everywhere and I often do my make up on the go...

Will look at Perricone. Forgot to say that I'm really pale so I find colours hard to match too 😭

I’ve recently bought the Eborian CC cream and it’s fabulous.

Bananaman123 · 27/06/2022 20:07

Tinted serum you could try the ordinary, light coverage
tinted moisturiser I’d try NArs but may need a bit of power, a small amount, too faced peach powder is good
too faced matte peach primer, foundation and power are a great combination to stay matte, I have oily skin too

asparalite · 27/06/2022 20:26

Another vote for Erborian, I'd a sample recently, gives the kind of finish you described and colours pretty pale too.

Samanabanana · 27/06/2022 20:29

Clinique CC cream.

Schoolchoicesucks · 27/06/2022 21:02

Erborian cc creme user here too. It's not cheap but full size tube lasts me a good time and you can buy smaller sizes to try - you may be able to get samples too.

Donutsforbreakfast · 27/06/2022 21:19

Another vote for Erborian. I've got oily skin and usually CC creams etc are a no no for me. Their stuff is amazing though!

Imtoooldforallthis · 27/06/2022 21:23

Laura geller balance n glow, or balance n brighten powder, amazing on bare skin. Both available on QVC so you can try for 30 days.

honeybushbunch · 27/06/2022 21:24

following, I have this issue too!

Badtasteflump · 27/06/2022 21:31

Estée Lauder Doublewear Sheer would suit you I think. I tried a sample and it wasn't really what I was looking for, precisely because it goes on more like a tint rather than a foundation, and it dries very matt (and stays that way all-day). I was looking for something with a bit more of a dewy finish, but for something v matt and sheer, it's perfect.

WhereAreWeNow · 27/06/2022 22:36

The L'Oréal tinted serum is good. The colours veer a little bit dark so maybe get a shade lighter than you usually would. I find very sheer. It just evens me out a bit and blurs pores without being heavy or greasy.

LadyOfTheCanyon · 28/06/2022 04:44

Lots of people rave about Erborian but I found it oxidised quite badly on my skin.

violetbunny · 28/06/2022 05:30

I have really oily skin. I really like this Liquid Powder from Bobbi Brown. It's actually very sheer (definitely light coverage) and very oil absorbent and long wearing.

Thank you for all these suggestions, I'm going to investigate!

I have your skin type, and at the age of 61 found three great foundations that last on my skin, Eborian cc cream , Dior forever in matt, its not to matt more satin if that makes sense, laura geller balance and brighten are my favourites.

minipie · 28/06/2022 19:18

NARS tinted moisturiser fits the bill. It’s not mattifying, but it is matte iyswim - it doesn’t add shine or dewiness.

Snoopysimaginaryfriend · 28/06/2022 20:13

The ordinary serum foundation is actually just the right side of matte for me.it’s cheap, lasts for ages, doesn’t oxidise and is very lightweight.
Oddly, I found the ‘coverage’ one very shiny

missmoon · 28/06/2022 22:01

Perricone no foundation foundation left my skin very shiny. Didn’t work for my combination / oily skin.

doadeer · 28/06/2022 22:11

Beauty Pie do a matte primer - I would use something like that with Erborian CC cream over the top

limitededitionbarbie · 28/06/2022 22:55

I use Nivea bb cream mixed with Nivea about half half
