Individual false eyelashes

Hello everyone 🙂

I'd like to give individual false eyelashes a go but I have no idea which ones to buy.

Are they easy to apply and do they last reasonably well if you're careful with them? (I've had salon-applied lashes in the past so I know how to look after them.) Which brand(s) would you recommend for a first-timer?

Thank you and have a lovely evening x

I love them! I use the Ardell short knot free lashes, and use Duo eyelash glue. Tiny little bit fiddly to apply with tweezers but I find them so much easier and more natural than strip lashes.

Have a look on YouTube at Lisa Eldridge videos, she has a great tutorial on how to apply them.

The ones from MAC, used with their glue, are good and last all day long.

Are they easy to get off again without pulling your eyelashes out?

WatermelonSugarSigh · 26/06/2022 22:40

@gabagoulghost yes- if you take care to just get a dot of glue at the very base of the lashes. If the glue gets further up the lashes, it's much harder to remove them. I still find they stay on well even with a small amount of glue on the base.

I use Elemis cleaning balm and that helps to get them off. Even better if you put a decent amount on and leave for a while.
