DIY bikini wax tips?!

So I've bit the bullet and bought a kit to wax my bikini line at home.
Any hints or tips?

Do I start at the outside and work my way in? 🙈

Pretty nervous about doing it!

I've waxed at home a few times. Here are my tips:
Depending on how long the hairs are, it might be worth trimming them slightly.
Stretch the skin and also do any hard to see bits in a mirror .
Breathe in, then pull the wax off in a swift movement while you breathe out - it seems to hurt less!
Keep a wet flannel or some baby wipes nearby as you might need to de-stickify your fingers occasionally
And lastly (apols if this isn't the kind of kit you've bought) I've recently switched from hot wax to the cold wax strips and found them much easier and less messy.
