Help! Wedding outfit ideas for size 22

I'm ashamed to be a size 22 and I'm struggling for wedding outfit ideas for a wedding coming up.

I want something nice, maybe a bit flowy and something that doesn't cling to my body. I'm only 5ft 2. In the past I've gone for skater style dresses but maybe looking for something a bit longer.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Maybe ideally something I can wear again.

Right first of all, you've got to get yourself out of that mindset. Are you on TikTok or Pinterest? When you look at plus size fashion/curvy women wearing lovely outfits, all you think is 'they look nice in that' my weight is all over the shop so I've been you before.
I do love midi dresses and skirts as a trend. They are easy to wear and looks good on most people. Next have a fantastic range of dresses in your size. V neck, bit nipped in at waist, bit of a tan/real or fake and bobs your uncle.

I'm the same and have a wedding coming up. I'm pregnant so hoping I'll have more a bump shape when the wedding is here but I normally feel so horrible and frumpy and look at plus size fashion on people on TikTok etc and they look fab! Everything I see when looking for plus size is dark and a bit dull. I did come a cross a good website but it's a bit expensive. Not fully dressed. They have nice bright dresses and styles that "normal sizes" wear.

So much that is in, is so shapeless that they might as well be tents for anyone not teeny tiny. So it's quite hard right now to find something stylish, with shape, right colours for a wedding.

I would look at getting something like this - I've seen it in different colours too

dress and a crop jacket can look super nice. Personally I like a bit of pattern and then a plain jacket picking out one of the colours of the dress.
