Beautiful, classy style…

I’m in my late 30s and feel myself more and more drawn to sorting out my eclectic wardrobe and limiting items to things I really love. I want to look classy and stylish, maybe with a nod to fashion and arty/vintage style (but a subtle nod, if that makes sense?!).

Please share items/ideas to help me build my wardrobe… 😊 TIA.

Just got a bit more context, I’m drawn to the Kate Middleton’s style (because I think she always looks classy), although am most interested in her casual/smart casual style for the purpose of my wardrobe sort out!

What kind of budget? E.g. how much would you want to spend on a dress, a cardigan, a bag etc?

MadameSapphire · 26/06/2022 09:37

Hi @prinnycessa, a good question! Up to £100 on everyday dresses, cardigans, etc., items such as T-shirts would ideally be not much more than £50, and bags up to £250. This could shift a little if items were perfect! 😊

I'd have a look at Reiss, Karen Millen, Mango and for bags probably selfridges and set a limit to what you're willing to spend

If I was still 30s and slim, and wanting a classic look I'd be slavishly following lydiajanetomlinson on insta - she always looks perfect.

Thanks @prinnycessa, that’s really helpful. 😊 And @Christinatheastonishing , thank you - I’ll take a look at her on Instagram.
