Alternative to GHDs

My second pair of GHDs have finally given up (they had a good run!). I mainly use my Curl Secret as my hair is long but would like some straighteners too.

Any recommendations for good alternatives? Cheaper options also welcome!

Cloud nine. Not cheaper though.

Cloud 9. Awesome but not cheap

Interesting thanks both! Definitely not a cheap option though 😂

No, they'll last as long as your GHDs though :)

Definitely Cloud Nine, not cheap but worth it!

Sounds good although I won’t use them that much so will have to have a think!

When my ghds died, I got some kipozi wide plate straighteners...less than £30 I think I paid. They are pretty good

cloud 9 suck shit have never got the hype. I noticed no difference from ghd's (new type) and my hair still looked parched and snapped 2 inches from the root.
I don't think these contraptions are worth it anymore, some actual life in the hair is far more natural.

i would ditch straighteners, they are dated and take all life out of the hair.
Opt for hot brushes, anything, but that!

When my ghds died i swapped to corioliss (i think thats how its spelt) as my hairdresser was using them at the time. Have had for about 6 years, still going strong and would say better than my ghds were!
