I'm increasingly bothered by my creased forehead. How old does it look??
The lines are so deep! Am I beyond help??

Botox is your friend here.

Mine has been like that since I was about 16. I have always had a fringe to cover it up.

youcantparktheresir · 26/06/2022 17:48

Can't recommend Botox enough! Don't faff about with creams and getting a fringe cut if it's not your thing.

Botox got rid of mine. Have top ups every 6 months and never looked back!

Yep Botox will sort it.

And it's nothing to do with age but genetics and lifestyle - myself and my friend (who is 10 years younger than me) both get Botox but she has those vertical lines on her forehead and I don't (I just get my 11's done). I have less lines than her even though she's younger - I think it's a mixture of taking after my mum who has great skin and also my friend is extremely thin which I don't think helps. I also never sunbathe, wear sunglasses even in the slightest sun to prevent squinting and don't drink or smoke. My friend also has a very expressive face and maybe I don't!

Botox will sort it. I started at 48. (I'm 50).
Have it 3 times a year. Gives me a confidence boost and I still look like me, just fresher in the way I look. Friends have commented on how lovely my skin is.

I haven't got any lines and I'm 44. But I've seen lines like this on a 25 year old. So you could be anywhere between 25 and 55.

I'm 62 and mine are a bit worse than yours. So you're 50/53?

jeaux90 · 26/06/2022 19:03

Botox will sort it. I had worse lines (at 48) I'm 50 now with a nice smooth forehead.

ImInStealthMode · 26/06/2022 19:12

I'm 38 and mine were worse than yours, but Botox has almost completely erased them.

DrPayne · 26/06/2022 19:14

Before I saw your answer I thought this is a white woman's in her 30s forehead.

A580Hojas · 26/06/2022 19:16

Lines on forehead is genetic. I don't have a single line (plenty of open pores though!) and I'm almost 60.

BeatricePortinari · 26/06/2022 20:49

I have deep forehead lines.

I have Botox for my 11s but my doctor won't do my forehead lines as he says I have them because my muscles there are very strong and active, and relaxing them would make my eyebrows drop and make my face masculine and heavy.

So I live with at least not looking angry with the 11s gone and actually think it's probably a more refreshed but not shiny blank look.

Lines are as much to do with your own muscle use around your face as it is about sun damage etc. People differ in how their face moves.

I've realised I have a very active animated forehead when I smile, talk, react etc.

Sun damage impacts more on texture, discolouration and sagging.
