What luxury item(s) or product(s) would you spend it on?

I'm talking bags, shoes, jewellery...... whatever floats your boat!

I'm curious. Indulge me? Grin it's so far away from my reality right now as an exhausted mum it's pure fantasy until I return from Mat leave and start saving up!

I'm eyeing up......
Hermes Oran sandals in a bright seasonal colour
Manolos - blue or emerald hangisis

Longines watch

Saurus72 · 24/06/2022 21:16

I’d buy a Chloe Marcie Mini in tan

I have one in grey that I’ve used soooo much. I really would like a tan one but they’re twice as expensive as when I bought mine 6 years ago…

Ireolu · 24/06/2022 23:15

Would need an extra thousand plus for hermes picontin 18 if could actually get a hold of one.

LondonQueen · 24/06/2022 23:20

Another pair of Chanel heels, though I'd still be short...

Elletine · 24/06/2022 23:24

Oooooh all lovely ideas so far! Just googled the Hermes Picotin, I always thought a Kelly was the pinnacle but I think that has turned my head!!

For some reason, I remember a personality quiz question from a teen magazine, circa 1995:

If you had £100 to spend on clothes, would you buy:
A) one key piece
B) a coordinating outfit
C) as many cheap tops and skirts as you can get for the money

I was c) then, and c) now, I'm ashamed to say!

I do fancy a really nice smart watch though.

A V&A Sweet Alhambra bracelet (not sure if 1k would be enough?)
A pair of Hermes Oran in red or fuschia (I have a tan pair that go with everything but fancy something a bit brighter)
A Celine mini luggage in a bright colour

sleepyhoglet · 25/06/2022 11:11

I'd probably spent it on teeth whitening or put towards teeeth straightening (if needed)

CinnamonJellyBeans · 25/06/2022 11:28

I'd get a designer silk scarf that I could pass on. I hate wearing coats or jackets, so don't spend money on them, but a really well cut coat would be nice.

TaraRhu · 25/06/2022 11:29

Botox and filler

chiffchaffchiff · 25/06/2022 11:53

These Yves Saint Laurent tribute sandals. I couldn't walk in them these days but since this is just a fantasy...

The VCA bracelet is more like £3500.

Put it towards eye bag removal!

ItsOverFlo · 25/06/2022 12:25

Get a passport and take my 16yr old dtr to Paris, just the 2 of us.

ItsOverFlo · 25/06/2022 12:27

Ah, I might not have got the spirit of the thread actually, but I stick by my decision.

StrychnineInTheSandwiches · 25/06/2022 12:28

a silver Elsa Peretti bone cuff

Floisme · 25/06/2022 12:48

I'd have a bespoke jacket made although I'm not sure how much that would cost.

Bearsan · 25/06/2022 13:28

Jewelry or watch every time.

CakeParty · 25/06/2022 14:27

Probably some jewellery piece, or towards a bag - I've been eyeing up Celine Triomphe.

jay55 · 25/06/2022 14:35

If I was being forced to spend the money. Or had Selfridges vouchers or something.
I'd buy Louboutin Tikita run trainers.
They are ridiculous but they make me smile.

Fortunately my sensible head won't let me spend £700 on a pair of trainers.

NiqueNique · 25/06/2022 14:42

Ohhhhhh usually it’d be a beautiful bag, a pair of great boots or a piece of Jewellery. Mulberry is a favourite, as is Aspinal. However I’m also very keen on Poléne as a new brand so I might get one from them. Georg Jensen is my go-to for jewellery.

Right now? A mini overhaul of my capsule wardrobe as it really needs it.
