Facial mist

Dh got me a Caudalie facial mist (I actually wanted some Caudalie face cream but anyway...) What is the point exactly? Are you meant to just randomly spray your face with it? It just makes me look wet. It also doesn't smell good! I don't really want to bin it so please extol the vitues! Thanks!

I bought it, thinking it would be nice to have on a long flight.
Then felt like a total dick using it. So didn't.

I use it before putting hyaluronic acid and moisturiser to seal the moisture in. I used to use the Caudalie one mentioned (the one you shake to distribute the oil?) but now I use Simple Facial toner, which sounds shit but actually has niacinamide and allatonin in so a bit better than just water.

The one I've got is grape water (?). No oil.
