49 - is it worth getting botox? Is it too late?

Getting creases around my eyes that I hate - will botox help? Is it too late at my age!

No of course not. I know of people in their 60s who have it, and only recently started.

Botox will help with crow's feet, but tear trough filler might help more with under eye creases, though it's sometimes recommended to have cheek filler (along cheekbone as scaffolding first). Go for a consultation somewhere and see what they advise.

There are certain areas of the face that as you age and lose volume in your face just will not be corrected by botox. However 49 is not to old at all. Go for it.

I'm 45 and just had Botox for the first time on 11s and crow's feet and it's bloody amazing!

Can I ask what effect it has had on 11 lines and crows feet that are already there? My 11 are very pronounced and I had assumed they were just like that for good now.

I started for my 50th and am very pleased I did. I used to have deeper forehead lines and now they are very faint. My crows feet lines disappear when I get it done and then creep back during the six months. I have very faint 11’s. I am 53.
What has been really incredible is having fillers in my jowls and cheek area once a year which I started at about 47, I know longer look grumpy.

I only had it 2 weeks ago but already the 11s have faded, for want of a better word, noticeably. Mine are/were really deep and I could feel them with my finger but now they are less deep. Pic is me frowning but gives an idea of the impact.

I am 52 and doing it but it is a mixture of botox and fillers
