I tint mine (at home) which I think helps. I also get a lash lift done before holidays or special occasions although my last one wasn’t as effective as previously

Doodledeedum · 23/06/2022 10:51

Vaseline!!!! Just a small amount along lash line every night. Helps growth and filling!

Mumblechum0 · 23/06/2022 10:52

I have a quarterly lash lift.
im also getting some extensions done next week before a wedding abroad, you do have to be firm if you don’t want the Love Island look. I ask for double lashes of the same length as my own

God I'd never even heard of a lash lift! I've got one day to sort it out so I'm guessing I can't just walk in to have it cos of the dye? testing
I've got some vaseline somewhere so I'll use that going forward
Any products that you can think of to give an instant whoo?

It's not instant so maybe for longer term...but a friend of mine swears by castor oil and she has the most beautiful thick lashes.

Not had chance too lazy to try it myself but I do keep meaning to, as I know she doesn't use any other treatments (obvs still wears decent mascara, but I've seen her both with & without makeup and the lashes are fab).

MrsPrimulaSpread · 23/06/2022 11:38

Stupid question @Serenity45 but does she rub/dab it on or have a tablet every day

She just gets it from Amazon - actual oil and it comes with a mascara wand so you brush it on every night

Castor oil and vaseline can give you blepharitis. They can clog the oil glands.
A decent eyelash serum will work but a lot are expensive. The Ordinary have a new one that is less than £10 which I am getting once its back in stock. I use Rumi at the minute which I buy when on sale as it doesn't discolour my eyelids. I also get a lash tint but wasn't keen on the lash lift.

I use full fat lashes by Charlotte tilbury. I don't like the long spidery look but need the fullness.

I also use rapidlash which definitely makes them longer.

Wouldloveanother · 23/06/2022 11:55

Castor oil, a small amount rubbed onto the eyelashes before bed. Also using eyelash curlers before applying mascara.

Moj1t0 · 23/06/2022 12:05

L'oreal feline mascara. I was a maybelline devotee and then I got some of this as a free gift in Superdrug. Definitely worth a try.

If you don’t have time for a lift or extensions, deffo use an eyelash curler before the first coat of mascara, leave 10 mins then do 2nd coat.
A very soft, well blended liner will also help, draw it right on the lash line from the centre to just beyond the outer edge. Then blend with a clean brush or sponge applicator.

Wow, lots of ideas, thank you all so much
I had an eyelash curler in the 90's but was terrified of using it Grin
