This beach dress?

I usually go for plainer things these days but wondered about this for a beach holiday? Yay or nay?

Would look nice on an olive skin tone

I don't have an olive skin tone however I will be wearing bondi sands fake tan 😉

I don't thinknit makes me look tall like the model though, I think it makes me look square because I'm short😑i think maybe I need to accept maxi dresses aren't for me.

I actually wish I'd set the thread title as, 'maxi dresses on shorties. Bad idea?'
I think being short but not exactly willowy does no favours.

I like it and would wear it. I'm 5'7 though, my 5' 3 daughter won't wear masks as they swamp her

I am not keen on the combination of colours, tbh

I'm 5"3 and have yet to find a midi or maxi dress that didn't swamp me.
I've given up on them but get such maxi dress envy!
