Every year this happens.
Mineral suncream sweats off everywhere, gets on everything and everyone hates the white caste it gives to the skin but the ingredients are (broadly speaking) less controversial. Chemical blockers in sprays generally feel better on the skin when applied but can dehydrate it and choke you when applying spray and there are all sorts of warnings about the ingredients being harmful to living things in general.
And the applying every 1 and a half to two hours? Wearing inside? Under clothes? All year round. 🤦♀️
After too much deliberation and a trip to the food bank to donate a hasty purchase that I decided wasn't suitable for our family to the food bank, I've ended up with Ultrasun for my face (and body on days out) and use Altruist on my body for my hour's daily walk. Here's hoping this is the dream combination.
Does anyone else get this?
