Hi, I know this has been asked a million times before, but since the site ‘upgrade’ I can’t work out how to search 😣
So, how do you clean/deodorise your Birkenstock foot beds? Mine are getting a bit whiffy, sorry tmi!

It's a problem. I've followed various tips, eg making a paste out of bicarb, but while you can remove the smell, it leaves them sort of shiny-ish so that your feet subsequently slip around uncomfortably.
I do know that applying moisturiser to your feet is really bad for Birkies, and so you should do this at night rather than in the morning before you put them on.
Sorry , that really doesn't help you.. if anyone actually has a tip that works I'd be delighted to hear it too!

Try cat litter, on advertised as no smell of something like that. You just need enough to cover the footbed, or put some in a bag and add your sandals.

I discovered this trying to cure my son's stinky trainers
