Professional plus size

I’ve got an interview for my dream job, it’s a fairly senior position in a school. If I get the job I will need to be taken more seriously (I already work there as a teacher and am quite casual)

I wear a size 18/20 and have some sensory issues so struggle with man made fabrics and poor fit.

Currently celebrating my interview by compiling my dream (no expenses spared) work wardrobe so any ideas of premium, professional but plus size clothes?

Thanks!

Karen Millen Plus Size is my go-to for well tailored professional work wear - these are my two recent purchases. The sheaf dress is brilliant because you can wear as it is will a smart jacket or stick a shirt under it

I did not know Karen Millen did plus size. It’s hard to find nice professional clothes in plus size I think.

I love Hobbs for suit style skirts and I feel really smart when I pair one with a smart shirt / top. I also feel like the black helps hide/ skim my belly and thighs as I'm a pear body shape and that wearing it with a colourful top draws focus from my bottom half.

Phase 8 I love for dresses/ tops and they sometimes have some lovely smart patterned ones which I'd wear with a black suit jacket over the top.

I like phase 8 - I find their jumpsuits suit me - bottom heavy. I don't suit skirts or dresses and find jumpsuits work when you would normally be expected to wear a dress like a wedding for example.

Also like Hobbs

get really good bras & perhaps camisoles/thin t-shirts to wear under your clothes which are a comfortable layer between your skin and tailored clothes (I like Uniqlo for that)
