Denim shorts

I have spent untold hours trying to find a pair of lovely soft denim shorts that are not tight around the thighs! I have had the same pair for ten years and nothing has come close. I thought we would be together forever but my two-year-old just swung on the back pockets and ripped them beyond repair! Happily, I am at home and not in Tesco with my bum out. Where can I find replacements? I don’t really want them to be made of tough denim. I want something slouchy. I’m a size 10. Budget £50.

Mango is your friend here. I just got some perfect slouchy ones from there and struggle to wear anything else now. I got these which seem to be sold out in most sizes but they have others which are similar.

I bought a fantastic pair from monsoon last year. So flattering. Looks like they still do the style (Lucille) but not in a 10. Will have other options though

Just bought some from m&s that were very soft

I have a pair of GAP shorts from a previous season that are loose round the leg and very comfortable.

I second gap, i have some with 1% elastane and 99% cotton, they loosen up after washing but don’t lose shape entirely so are
very comfortable and flattering. Topshop mom ones on asos also very flattering.
