No idea what I'm doing!

Hi, I am the least fashionable person out there and I really don't have a clue what I'm doing but I liked this jumpsuit so bought it. The trouble is, I have no idea what I can wear with it if I need another layer? I have cardigans but they look a bit dowdy?? I was wondering about a denim jacket but I'm in my 40s and feel I'm a bit old (no offence to anyone older who wears denim jackets, I'm just not sure I can pull it off)? Please help!

No idea what I'm doing!

I am 50’s so probably out of touch a denim jacket would be fine in my opinion or a cream or white similar style jacket would also look ok.

Thank you, I would never have thought of something like that

I have a 2 year old and a 4 year old, I fear cream and white would be dangerous!!

I think a denim jacket is pretty universal, age-wise.

Or get a light coloured biker style jacket in a suede material?

I'm 57 and still wear my denim( and leather) jackets, so don't think age matters.Choose whatever works for your size and build

It's nice OP, I like the neckline on it. If i needed another layer over that I would go for an oversized linen/similar shirt (probably white but I appreciate it perhaps isn't ideal) and tie at the waist or just wear loose, I think it would complement the green really well and not cut off the existing shape of the jumpsuit if you tied at the same point as the existing waistline.

You could always go for a layer underneath if you felt you needed it. A white t-shirt or long sleeved top.

I'm not a fan of denim jackets in general but that would also work fine, especially in a lighter blue.
