Veja trainers - are they worth it?

I’m considering buying a pair of Veja’s but would like to know if they’re worth it - are they hard to break in and what is sizing like?

I’d love to know your thoughts!

thanks!

Ooh me too - sorry nothing to add but I’d like to know.

Which ones are you thinking OP?

Enjoyallthewine · 19/06/2022 21:20

I bought the v 10 - bought a size 7 as they are snall fitting (im usually 6 or 6 1/2. The tongues are a little stiff at first but I always wear socks and think that helps. These particular Vejas are leather and I found them comfortable straight away. Very hardwearing soles on this style.

Frostytiger87 · 19/06/2022 21:21

I’ve just recently bought a pair after researching them , they are very stiff but will probably soften after a while . Some people love them but personally I wish I’d bought a cheaper alternative

Interested in knowing this too. Have been eyeing up a pair for some time

OxanaVorontsova · 19/06/2022 22:16

I love my Campos, comfy from the start and soften up quickly

Passthecoffee · 19/06/2022 22:22

I believe they're worth the money, bought a pair last March and they were the only trainers I wore throughout the summer, so comfy. Took a day or so of being tight/breaking them in but once that was done they were the comfiest trainers I've ever worn. I'm a size 5 and found them true to size.

ArtVandalay · 19/06/2022 22:24

I have a few pairs and I find them really comfy with no breaking-in required.

I recently bought flatform Converse and they might be the most uncomfortable things I've ever worn.

Wishihadanalgorithm · 19/06/2022 22:25

V10 fit exactly as they should, I am a size 6. Very comfy and all round good trainers. Will get another pair this year and relegate my V10s to dog walking only.

SickSadWorId · 19/06/2022 22:25

I bought a pair of v10s but didn't get on with them. They're uncomfortable. So I sold them on ebay.

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 19/06/2022 22:51

I have Esplars and have never found them particularly comfortable - I had to break them in like shoes. I actually wore them on Thursday for the first time in ages and got a big blister on my heel, even though they are a couple of years old now!

I do think they are true to size if that helps. I’m a 4 with wide feet.

Tiddlywinkly · 19/06/2022 23:06

If you've got wide feet I wouldn't bother

coffeecakeandtea · 19/06/2022 23:25

Thanks everyone! The V 10’s are the style I’m considering.

I have 2 pairs of esplars - gold and sable - and they’re both great. Comfy and true to size, the gold in particular I could live in. They go with everything!

midnightbluevelvet · 20/06/2022 07:41

I have just bought my first pair and absolutely love them. I have the Urca, they are vegan leather and no breaking in needed at all as they are already comfortable. Fast becoming my favourite shoes!

WingBingo · 20/06/2022 07:58

I love them. Here’s a tip (for any trainers really)

look up no tie laces, cool little device
