Could I add blue into box ash hair dye?

I’ve just used a blonde hair dye that has made my hair a teeny bit orange. I then used a Revolution silver temp hair dye that was actually bright blue after which had toned it nicely.

In future could I just get some blue dye and mix it into the box?

It’s a permanent nice n easy

I don’t know about that but why not buy professional hair dye and developer and mix yourself (I buy mine on Amazon or at Sally’s)? Honestly never comes out brassy whereas when I used to box dyes they always went brassy. It was a total game changer for me.

I’ve never drive it before! Is it the same as mixing the two different parts of a box dye together? How do I know what % developer to use?

Annoyingly I do like the colour it’s gone as I want to grow dye it and it’s currently brown and the blonde has gone greyish but I know it won’t last!

If you’re worried about it looking brassy, use a purple shampoo and conditioner. I use Redken Blondage.
