It feels like we should be getting into the summer sale season and I would appreciate anyone that knows when any sales start to put the date here, especially Zara, Reiss, Hush, Mint Velvet and John Lewis.

Is anyone finding the sales this year a bit crap? Browsed &Other Stories, Arket and Cos yesterday, nothing of interest.

Was in West End last week in Zara and Mango - same - definitely old season stock from 2-3 years ago in both stores!

The JL sale is ok but nothing in my size!

Marks and Spencer’s sale has started today, but like so many others it’s really poor. Hardly any reductions on children’s clothes. I’ve found a lot of the sales really disappointing.

Just had a look and agree that it's a bit rubbish @Pinkpiglet. Was hoping to get some last minute holiday swimwear for DC but there's next to nothing on sale!

Yeah M&S sale is pretty poor. The couple of things I am interested in only have 20% off, which means I could have just got them last month with a sparks offer.

The one exception is a cashmere cardigan which I wasn’t sure about when I bought it at 20% off, returned it last month, and have now just reordered at 50% off.

M&S sale us very poor...they used to give sparks card holders a preview but not now...nothing decent

M&S sale is rubbish isn't it. I normally buy nightwear, lingerie and kids stuff but there's almost nothing on sale. Makes me think they'll surely add in more stock as the weeks go on?

I'd forgotten about the presale for Sparks holders - what's happened to that perk?!

The sale preview was awesome the first couple of times. Used to be early access and an automatic 50% off (even if they were only 20% off once early access was finished). I guess the numbers just didn’t stack up for them.

John Lewis have 15% off beauty for the bank holiday, and I’m SO tempted to buy some perfume.
