Comfortable but effective bra

Morning all,
Im looking for your advice. Saw a photo of myself yesterday and realised that my ageing boobs were heading south and are currently weat my waist used to be! (slight exageration, but you get the picture.) My user name was more to do with my emotional health than my bra size.

I have always gone for chap and comfy supermarket bras but they are clearly not cutting the mustard any more. Please can anyone recommend bras that will "hoist 'em up" without feeling uncomfortable or breaking the bank?

Thank you

Hi have you tried M&S? They do a boutique range which is reasonably priced

If you are an e/f cup or under Victoria secrets or pink. The sale is on at the moment so I have stocked up for dd (they don’t do my size) I wish they did my size as as well as giving good lift and shape they wash and wear so well. I don’t even pay any particular care to them just shove them in the wash with associated colours and not once have they lost a wire or broken.

m&s ones can be good but try them in as some have quite wide wire as and so push your boobs apart giving a not very flattering look.

curvy Kate is good and reasonable. Use the bust measurements that is your actual measurements. I find the band comes up quite big so if between a size go down and not up.

i went to john lewis for a booked fitting. they were great. but they did warn me that as my previous bras had been so bad (not their words) i would find them uncomfortable at first. The band round your chest needs to hold your boobs up and so has to be pretty tight

Look at measuring using boob or bust method. The website also links to various pages/shops that have good quality Bras.
